After distinguishing herself in numerous competitions (Marmande, ASAO, Ténor Viñas), she won first prize at the Concurso de Logroño and the award for the best interpretation of a French aria at the Bellini Competition in 2024.
Of Franco-Spanish nationality, Inés obtained her CFEM in singing and piano at the Conservatoire de Rennes before continuing her studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she completed her BMus and MMus degrees. She then honed her craft at the Opera Studio of the Tenerife Opera in 2018–2019 and the Accademia Rossiniana Alberto Zedda as part of the prestigious Rossini Opera Festival in 2022.
With a versatile repertoire, Inés Lorans has stood out in numerous roles, including the Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte – Mozart), Olympia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann – Offenbach), Despina (Così fan tutte – Mozart), and Folleville (Il viaggio a Reims – Rossini). Her collaborations have taken her to prestigious stages such as Opéra Grand Avignon, Opera de Tenerife, Teatro Real in Madrid, Opera Comunale di Bologna, and the operas of Rennes, Nantes, and Angers, among others.
Regularly invited to perform in concert, she has interpreted major works such as Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio, and pieces by Rachmaninov, Mozart, and Carl Orff. She has appeared in renowned venues, including the Royal Festival Hall in London, the Barbican Centre, the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, the Opéra-Comique, and Théâtre de l’Athénée.
Among her upcoming projects, Inés will perform works by Rossini at the Viena Ferienmesse in January 2025, Contessa Folleville in Slovenia in June and October 2025, and Clarina in La Cambiale di Matrimonio at the ROF in Pesaro in August 2025.
She will also appear in Bilbao for the recital De Paris à Madrid with Rubén Fernández Aguirre, following its debut at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in January 2024.
